!) I could simply tell you to just ‘test your equipment.’ of course. Make sure that Zoom link works beforehand, download the app of course. It’s 45 minutes free, get acquainted with the app beforehand. Call a friend on the app and make sure your look is optimized to enhance professional experience.
Your camera and microphone are in working condition, You aren’t ‘on mute’ lip syncing at getting chucked at by the interview panel.
Get familiar with the apps features as it’s very easy to use. Both screenshare and basic chat feature skills should be mastered beforehand.
Make sure you aren’t digging through emails 10 minutes before the meeting looking for the correct Zoom link. Send the link to an alternate email address the night before the interview if need be.
2) Choose a great location at home with optimal lighting. Natural lighting beats bright lamps…….I prefer an authentic background without any zoom background filters personally. Pick a room without any clutter, pets, people…..ect
If possible, avoid Zoom interviews using your phone. I understand it happens usually because of your at work…..I know……

4) Camera angle matters…..Again angle well before interview and make the any needed adjustments.

This gives the impression of eye contact…….
